1.) Do you buy gold?

Yes and no. We will gladly give you a better rate than most gold-buyers and pawn shops to be used as credit towards a purchase. We are more interested in making and designing than turning a quick profit off of the metal markets. That said, we are aware that the rising cost of metal are a harsh reality to how people buy jewelry. Usable scrap metal that can be melted down and re-cast or milled will gladly be used towards the costs of fabricating a new piece of jewelry. When this is done, we will credit you 90% of the value of the metal at that time. That is the same rate that I get from my refiner!

2.) I lost an earring!

Can you make me just one? Yes. If it is an earring that Duris Studio made, I can make you just one at exactly half-the price of a pair at current pricing. Just remember to send me the other earring, so it can be cleaned and finished to match the new piece.

3.) Do you re-string pearls?

Yes. We re-string pearls and beaded necklaces. Pricing per inch varies from the size and quality of the pearls and of course, any new findings or clasps. Call for pricing.

4.) I have a favorite piece of jewelry that I want to duplicate. Can you do that?

Chances are that we can, but just because you can do something, doesn’t mean that you should. If the piece is identified by any specific hallmark or trademark, it is illegal and immoral to copy the work directly. We may also suggest subtle changes to a design to improve comfort and durability of a piece that would be replicated.
